Adventure
At Loch Park, the visitor can enjoy a range of
activities under the direction of qualified staff. We can offer
kayaking, canoeing, raft building, fishing, gorge walking, a ropes
course and archery all in one place.
For your comfort and enjoyment, the following
are a guideline of the minimum clothing you will need.
Clothing should be old, as it may get muddy and
wet! A complete change is required as well as the clothes you are
travelling in and a rough guide would comprise of :
- towel
- warm woolly jumper or 2 sweatshirts
- t-shirt
- bathing costume / trunks
- warm woolly socks or 2 thinner pairs
- old training shoes / walking boots
- tracksuit bottoms or similar (no jeans)
- an old waterproof jacket.
This is a minimum list for a days activities.
If your Adventure is longer than one day or the weather is particularly
inclement you will need to add to this list. You may wish to change
into another set of clothes if you are spending the whole day at
Loch Park, this would depend on your programme of activities.
Loch Park Adventure Centre does provide wetsuits,
kags, life jackets and helmets for the relevant activities (eg Kayaking
and gorge walking).
If you are in doubt, please do not hesitate to
contact the Centre.
We request that jewellery is not worn on activities
and if watches are worn that they are waterproof.
If you wear spectacles, please bring a piece of
string to secure them during activities.
